Funérailles
From NYCB: “A dark and seductive pas de deux, Funérailles’ tempestuous drama is furthered by [Franz] Liszt’s intense piano score and theatrical costumes by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen: a sweeping, corseted gown for the woman and an elaborate gold-embroidered jacket for her partner.” Part of the 2014 Fall Fashion Gala. My role was to source the fabrics needed and liaise with the embroiderer to realize Ms. Burton’s design.
